Professional Experience

Gallery Attendant, Art Installer/Handler and Event Site Manager Flyspace Productions. Jan 2016- Current. Attending in galleries in the August Wilson Center for African American Culture, the Cultural Trust Education Center, and site managing during the Three Rivers Arts Festival. Responsibilities include (for TRAF) installing art at multiple venues and overseeing shift changing. Art installer and handler for Cultural Trust buildings and galleries.

Responsible for chemical mixing, running errands for the School of Communications and Professors, putting away chemical stock, cleaning and maintaining dark rooms, and digital labs.

Photography Collective President, Point Park University, 2013-2015. Leading studio workshops, critiques and bi-weekly meetings. Worked to secure a budget and funding for student trips including starting a semi-regular trip to NYC, and to the national SPE conference. Worked to secure a budget for “The Fix”, under the umbrella of the Photography Collective.

Black and White Photo 1, Experimental Photography (digital-analog blend), and Alternative Process.

Guest Lecturer, Alternative Process - Cyanotype Demo. Elements of Fine Art Photography 1. Fall 2018. Gave a lecture to undergraduate students on how to make photograms using the cyanotype process. Including chemical safety, mixing chemicals, and making images. Students made their own images with material provided.

Guest Lecturer, Alternative Process - Cyanotype Demo. Studio Core, 1st year MFA Photography Students. Fall 2018. Gave a lecture to graduate students on how to mix chemicals and print using the cyanotype process.

Graduate Teaching Assistant to Catherine Zuromskis, History and Aesthetics of Photography II. Spring 2018. Assisted Professor Zuromskis in grading assignments, mid-terms, and final exams.

Guest Lecturer, Selfie vs. Self Portrait, Introduction to Digital Photography, Point Park University, Pittsburgh PA. September 2015. Gave a lecture to undergraduate students on the changing culture of the self-portrait through technological advancements, and the visual culture surrounding the “selfie”.

Undergraduate Teaching Assistant to Jessica Steigerwald, Introduction to Black and White Photography, Point Park University, Pittsburgh PA, Spring 2014. Assisted in critiques, helped grade assignments, gave a lecture on Richard Avedon, and worked with students during lab hours.

Photography Cub Workshop Leader In addition to serving as the Undergraduate photo club president at Point Park University I led work-shops in studio lighting, digital editing, on-site shooting, large format cameras, loading film and film scanning. Fall 2013- Spring 2015.
